City of Dallas employees to see raises after pay restoration

DALLAS - Dallas city employees are getting a raise after the city council approved restoring their base pay to 2008 levels this morning. The entire package would cost $2.4 million and would cover the roughly 7,000 non-public safety employees whose base pay was cut during budget reductions during the recession.
