It’s hard to believe that this is the first week in May. Most of us thought that we were in May the last, well, the last 45 days. So now the gardening urge is great upon us. I have the shallots and leeks in the ground, and the braising greens are growing nicely in the cold frame. I’m finding it hard to wait out the weather for the next two weeks or so.
